The Daytona Beach Bandshell

One of Daytona’s architectural gems is the Daytona Beach Bandshell. Construction started on the Bandshell in 1936 and it hosted its first performance on the Fourth of July in 1937. In 2017, after 80 years, the Daytona Beach City Commission voted to perform a one-million dollar interior and exterior renovation. The Bandshell’s electrical system was built to 1930’s code, and as such needed to be completely refitted with modern equipment that meets today’s building code. We are proud to say that we performed the work on this piece of Daytona’s history and helped ensure that concerts will be held there for many years to come.

The Daytona Beach Clocktower

Also built in 1937, the Clocktower stands fifty-five feet high over the Daytona Beach Boardwalk. In 2017, after seventy years of exposure to salt air, storms and seagulls, the Clocktower was sorely in need of a renovation. The Daytona Beach City Commission voted to perform a nearly quarter-million dollar renovation on the Clocktower. As part of the renovation, the entire structure, including  the fountain, the lights and the clockworks were brought up to modern electrical code. Bayshore Electric is proud to say we provided the expertise to give this beautiful piece architecture new life.

The Hard Rock Hotel on Daytona Beach

When you are in the luxurious spaces of the Hard Rock Hotel on Daytona Beach you would probably never guess it was built in the 1950’s. Surprisingly, that’s the case though! The prime location was originally selected to be the Desert Inn. It was a fixture on the Beachfront Hotel lineup until 2017. That’s when a renovation was completed and it was transformed into the luxurious and ultra modern Hard Rock Hotel. With the very latest in design and architecture, we are proud to list it as one of our most visible projects as commercial electrician.

Pictona Pickle Ball Courts on US1 in Holly Hill

Pictona is a complex of Pickleball courts, in Holly Hill Florida. It is a very popular attraction for the whole area, so we are very happy to say that we are the electrical contractors that worked on and completed the project. More photos of this commercial electric project can be viewed here.
